One strategy to use for a student-centered classroom is: Cross-Curricular, Interdisciplinary, or Thematic Instruction. Today we will work collaboratively to build a interdisciplinary experience for students.

In groups of 2 or 3 brainstorm about: When planning interdisciplinary curriculum units, teachers should consider the following questions:
Collect your responses in a word processor.
Review Thinkfinity and Iowa AEA Online for information and ideas about teaching interdisciplinary, cross curricular or thematically. What did you find that you can use?
